At the end of each 4 week BABTAC accredited makeup course comes the Photoshoot day!
Our resident photographer Jennifer Sinclair takes the most beautiful photos. Ive worked with Jennifer for a few years now and am always amazed at what she managed to capture in her photos!
Michele went for a Woodland theme for her photoshoot mixing in bridal with high fashion. We had some gorgeous flowers provided by Rhoda @ Heaven Scent Flowers. She used hues of pinks, yellows and peaches to create the perfect summer feeling.
Michele will now begin her career in TV, film and bridal hair and makeup, i have no doubt she will be a success and make an impact on the industry.
Comments from Jennifer...
I was delighted to work with Michele, a student from The Surrey School of Makeup. The Surrey School of Makeup, based in Surrey, is a well-established and professional school which offers a range of makeup courses taught in the comfort of student’s own homes. What I love about The Surrey School of Makeup is that they are extremely passionate about makeup and their makeup training is designed to suit individuals. I love their creativity and also looking to create something a little different.
I recently took the photographs for Michele’s portfolio after studying at The Surrey School of Makeup. I asked Michelle for some feedback on her experience with The Surrey School of Makeup:
“I chose Surrey School of Makeup because it came up easily on my google search criteria, but in particular the website gave me a good feeling about the person running the course as well as the content which seemed really comprehensive. I was impressed by the idea of different trainers coming in from industry to train different parts of the course as it meant they would be bang up to date with the latest experience & skills as well as giving me contacts for work after the course. The icing on the cake was the convenience of having a trainer come to my house. As a Mum of 2 young girls this was too good to be to true! For all these reasons the course didn’t disappoint one iota!
My plans now with makeup are to get as much experience as I can through bridal work, having makeup & hair parties with local mums & hopefully getting some experience with a view to work in the TV & film sector of the makeup industry. I definitely want to be more creative with it as its so much fun.
My inspiration for each of the models looks was from Becky, my trainer, mixed with looking at current makeup ideas through Pinterest & magazines etc. The main aim was to obtain pictures of a diverse nature for my portfolio. “
A big thank you to Rhoda from Your Heaven Scent Flowers
I wish Michele all the very best in her career.
